I just bought a Glock 35 (40 S&W) and the KKM .357 Sig barrel! Shot it with factory Jword bullets to sight in some aftermarket sights just this last Sunday.
Anyway, I loaded my first test loads this evening.

"What-did-you-do-in-the-reloading-room-today", replaced a depriming rod in a Lee 30-06 full length sizer die. The fun part was a few days ago, that's when I stuck 2 cases that I tapped out using the original depriming rod, causing it to bend. The lesson I learned is, only run your case into a resizing die 2-3 times max because anymore tha n that and your case lube is probably rubbed off.

I have been sorting thru all of my excess brass. Running it all thru the wet tumbler to clean and polish it so I can post it all in the S&S section. I will never use it all, and would rather sell it all than to see whoever finds my dead body, throw it all into the trash.
I walked in, looked around, then sat on the stool for a few minutes. Scratched my head and left........

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?

Last summer, a friend gave me a metal 'gallon' can of 9mm brass. it was pretty dirty stuff, so first thing I did was run it all through my wet tumbler and let it dry in the sun (hot) for a whole day. then I put it back in the can. Last Saturday during the snow storm I brought it into the reloading room. Sorting through it, there is some head stamps that I've never seen before and they have berdan primers; those were added to my brass can to go to the recycler. Most of those left have military primers so after depriming those, I've been working through them with my RCBS primer swage and then putting them into a bin to reload. I also found about 1000 bullets that I had lubed with Lee liquid alox and put away when I started powder coating. So after work through the week, (rain and snow) I've been running a few every evening before bed. I know it might be cheaper to just buy ammo at the store, but I already have all of the components, and lotz of time (better than staring at the tube), so I am filling my time and filling the ammo boxes for better weather. I love this hobby.
Yesterday was my first day using the new shop. I hadn't been to the range in ages and stayed long enough to put 170 rounds down range. I cleaned the Redhawk and 629 then deprimed all the brass from yesterday's shoot and a few more and got the tumbler half full of brass to process today. It's running right now along with the heater to make the room comfortable. The shop is fully insulated so a 1500W heater gets it warm in a few minutes. Already I can see a need for a shelf for the scale and racks for cleaning rods. It's supposed to rain for another week so I have time to work on it. We are 400% of normal for rain so far. It great to have a shop again!
