See if Buckshot will make you a 7/8 X 14 adapter with the inside hollowed out to .700".

Then have him make a shellholder with a center threaded for 5/16" bolts. Then bolts can be turned to rams of close to the appropriate size and regular Lyman and RCBS dies can be used as push through dies.

Crazy Mark, myself and several others have been using this concept on our single stage presses for years and it works well./beagle

Buckshot PMd he could do it for me. The RCBS dies have a enlarged area in the middle of them.

............RCBS dies have a radial lube groove passing through the 4 lube holes. This is just for better distribution since they DO only have the 4 holes. As the die is at full reduction before this groove I doubt it would present any problem in using it as a push through. The main difference between the Lee push throughs and using Lyman or RCBS dies as push throughs, is that the Lee has only a narrow band (maybe 0.100" wide) that does the sizing. The RCBS/Lymans will have a bit over an inch of parallel bore.

..........For what? A push through size die or the adaptor to use regular lube-size dies, or? Just PM me and we can go from there.
