I'm 69 years old and got my first .22 at the tender age of twelve (I already had a Colt target revolver, but that's another story). I lavished much care on that little gun, carefully cleaning, oiling and storing it after each use. Of course I used Hoppe's for bore cleaning exactly as my father taught me, and still do. So, now the question:
Is it pronounced "Hops" like the ingredient in beer, or
"Hoppeees" with emphasis on the "e" sound?
Great minds need an answer...............
