And what did the earliest model look like? I have Googled every version of that queery, I could think of, and can find nothing with an actual year.

US Govt mantra: If it's moving tax it. If it's still moving regulate it. If it stops moving subsidize it
The Rockchucker came out in 1967. Unscrew the die bushing and the year it was made is stamped on top.

Makes it really confusing. I bought a RCBS reloading starter kit with a JR press in it in 1973. Was a great little cast steel press and complimented my Lyman All American well.
Bought a JR press in 1972. The top is stamped 1971. Great little press and still use it when working up loads.

That chart has a lot of serious errors with the A, the B, the 2A and A2..
All Rockchucker's have a bushing 1-1/8th by 12. This is a change from the A's.

I owned a RC, marked "RC" on the frame. Had a removable bushing and bike grip handle. Stamped 81. Seems like there might have been a period of transition. Sold that to a member here, and hoping he's getting good service from it. Sitting with 2 RC IV presses at the moment. One sees very regular use, but one hasn't seen any use since about 2011. Will probably let that one go soon too. The Rock Chuckers have been great presses.
I have a RC II and a RC IV along with several other presses. The RC's are THE single stage press in my opinion. Gp
Don't you wish you could buy a new one today for the price they were in 68. Today I use a Lee classic Cast great press has the bigger ram 1 1/8 I think

In 1990, my ex walked off with my original 1972 Rock Chucker during the divorce. After years of using other presses, I finally bought one off Epay that was described as "in good condtion". It was a 1972 also and, after extensive machining/repair, works as well as my original. Kind of like having an old friend back.
Sure wish I still had the old one though...............sigh.

Jr came out in 1961. A was 1955, and B was only 1955. I have not pinned down the dates for JR 2/3 and RS. More catalog digging to do.
