I have a fair amount of this aluminum sheeting that I salvaged from work, but it's been sitting in my shed for a couple years and I've come to the realization that I'm never going to make gas checks. For the small quantity that I use, I'm way better off buying them instead.
So, instead of throwing back into the dumpster I got it out of, I thought I'd chop it into pieces that would fit in a flat-rate envelope or box and send it to whoever could use it, for just the price of postage. Before making that offer, though, I thought I'd see if it was even usable. There are two types. They both measure about .015" thick, one has a thin plastic film stuck to it, and the other has brown paper glued to it. I think they'd both come off with a heat gun, but I never messed with them enough to figure out an easy way. Is this stuff worth messing with?
