    Check at online metals .com they sell short lengths of various metals. Ive been buy brass tubing there. Measure the tube or where it insert or the inside lop of the cap and look for that of and the id you want. They sell in 10-12" lengths or by the foot.

    Resurrecting an old thread: Does anyone know what the screw is for on the lower right side of the B&M measure? It's centered in just above the piece that connects to the throw lever.

    Lock screw. Keeps the pivot screw from backing out. You are talking about the set screw on the back side of the base , centered on the pivot screw ?
