Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?
Got a buddy coming over this afternoon to cast. Have 2 new to me molds to try out. Have one last batch of 45 cases drying and waiting to be sorted and stored away.
I shot up about 60+ rounds of 8x56R, today I annealed the brass dried them, and now going to reload them. I'm using lead .338 bullets with gas checks, and powder coated resized to .334 after the PC to about .335 or so, these guns are a blast with out using 1938-39 German ammo.
Sorted out things I won't likely use , cleaned up a little .

Powder coated 500 124gr 9mm boolits with Smokes signal Blue
Gazed at a savage 110 LA in 308 wondering what it could become. Sick of 308.
Got a new 38/357 die from a member for the loading room. Had about a hundred empties of 38 spcl sitting in a box for the last 19 years that I just new I would get around to doing something with it at some point when I got around to getting some dies for it, well it happened today. Got out the SS pins, rounded up some 44 mag dirty brass to go with the 38's and got them all cleaned up. Dug out some books and decided on a light load for the 158 grain lead round nose from Hornady. These are for the Derringer, so not going to make them too feisty with that small a gun. Using CCI 500 primers, RP nickle brass, 3.8 gr of Unique and the Hornady lead round nose and that should be good for hitting the target at 12 feet. Here ya go: Ya, Ya I know. Gotta start using that other phone with the better camera in it huh.
