Just picked up a brand new in the box 625-4 looking for what loads work best for those of you that have one.

I have a JM 625 in 45acp and I use 230 gr round nose lead or plated boolits and Hodgdon clays 3.9 gr.
If your using moon clips a round nose or truncuated cone makes loading easier. The 200 grn SWC shoots very good in my 5" but takes some jiggling to load a full moon clip. All guns are a thing to themselves and what one likes another might not. I have had good results with WW231 and a 230 grn round nose in mine or a nice light target load of bullseye and 200 grn swc. Check the manuals and work up to the most accurate load watching pressure sighns. I have used bullseye, unique, 231 and some others with good results. The 45 acp is normally an easy loading cartridge that performs well with a lot of combinations.
A check of the cylinder throats dia may give an idea of bullet dia to use starting out.
I print clusters with my 625 and 25-2 using 185-200 gr castings with 4.0 Bullseye. The some what mild load is pleasant to shoot for me without the fatigue associated with hotter loads.
Accurate Molds #45-200E or Mihec version of H&G #68 over 4.0 gr Bullseye in 45 ACP cases. Both loads are accurate in my 625-4 and 625-6 MG as well as my 1911's.
The 45-200E is a TC style and I bought it specifically for the ease of loading into the 625 with moon clips. Much easier than the #68 with the SWC design.
