Nice people , very helpful and I enjoy doing business with them.
Their products fly below the mainstream's radar. All you hear about is RCBS...but us older guys know about CH4D's quality and service. They are my favorite.

Yes sir us ole people know about CH4D, top notch company and people got several dies from them not one problem, eyeballing a set
of tiN coated 223 dies they still need lube but wanna try em out and I
like what it says if you ever wear em out they'll replace them for free, just want to know how many rounds. Yes I know other companies have the same.

First set of reloading dies I ever bought way back in the early 60's were C&H dies. Also the first press I had was a Model 333 given to me for Christmas in 63(?) by Mom and Dad. Extremely nice folks to deal with and I go to them when I need something. james
I learned something here. I didn't know they were the same company. That's good to know. I've had no trouble from my old CH dies.
The company I go to when I need an obscure die set. excellent service and knowledge

I have been there a couple times and got a tour. Imagine a factory floor lined with shelves everywhere filled with die sets. I wish I still had the pic of the 25mm Bushmaster FL resizing die next to a .50BMG die. It was like LeBron James standing next to Peewee Herman.

If your looking For a Good Company to talk with CH4D Is it. Presses to Tools. No fancy New products, just tried and True products. A lot of stuff on the shelf and you have to ask.
been around for Years.. Worth the phone call.

Their website and store. Excellent people...I believe I said that already but I'll say it again.

Call them and ask about a old part and the next thing you hear is someone raking around in a box of parts followed by "I have one right here". I don't know anyone I would rather do business with. From the old buffalo cartridges to the most modern, they have the knowledge and ability to talk about and supply what you need. They do custom work also. I needed a trim die for the .43 Spanish many years ago and called them. I was told to send them a fired case or a resized case (my choice as to when I would trim the case) and danged if they didn't make me one and at the regular price. Gotta love folks like that, james
Also to add if you get Dave (the owner) he will talk and talk, very
knowledgeable, great guy.

Actually, it CH4D, and Dave was the 4D part. He bought the CH company and is trying as best he can to support those products.

Are they not making swage dies anymore? I haven't seen them listed on their website in quite some time.
Agree with what everyone else says. I have their deprimer/primer pocket swage kit and their brass trimmer kit. Good stuff!
I have always been curious about CH's distribution chain.
CH is not sold in any retail, mail order or internet outlets other than directly from CH. So how do they generate enough volume to keep the lights on?
EDG
They are not turning into a corporate giant but people like me and some others keep going back to them as long as they are in business for the reasons stated in these replies. There is not a better group of people in the firearms industry in my opinion and it looks like I am not alone in that belief. james
