My 67 year old sister Sheila who lives in South Carolina visited my 89 year old mother in KY for Christmas as I could not make it this year. While there, she passed out 2 days after Christmas, and at my urging went to the doctor.
She has since been diagnosed with stage 4 Spindle cancer which the PET scan shows to have spread. She just made it back home today and will seek treatment in SC. It's going to be hardest on my mother as no parent should have to bury their child. The doctor in KY stated that the cancer may be slowed but probably can't be stopped.
I ask my brothers and sisters on the site say a silent prayer for us, that we get through this with as little pain and discomfort as possible.
Thanks,
slim
