    M39 Scope Mount

    Does anybody sell a Non-Drill and Tap scope mount for the M39's I am hoping to find one that will utilize the rear site mount to make for a scout rifle type arrangement. Thanks in advance

    using one on my 91/30

    I have one of those on my 91/30 and like it alot

    Only problem with Darrel is that he is a small manufacturer and he does them in batches for the different models.

    If he has one in stock,you'd better jump on it..it could be a year or more before he gets round to that model again

    Darrell's is THE BEST of the scout type mounts. I have one on my M39 and it is solid!

    Rikkit: I have a S&K mount on my M44. Use a cheapo bsa pistol scope on it. Works great, but is a little pricey.

    I'll eventually made some of these to sell but in an improved design that allows more rearward eye relief adjustment. This one uses the ladder pin and the M4 sight base setscrew hole. That's problematic on some rifles as the setscrew gets soldered in place when the base is soldered to the barrel. But when the screw comes out and allows this mount to be used there is no other anywhere that's lower or simpler or stronger. Its just a matter of getting that one single screw to come out.

    Its on my to-do list.

    I put on one of the cheap scout mounts on a 91/59, bit of retrofitting made for solid and it has worked out good for me. Here is link with pics as to how I did it, other's mileage may differ.
