I'm thinking, if you used a sturdy piece of thin plastic sheet, you could probably "flip" fifty at a time without knocking over the ones already placed. The great thing about forums, is that at the very least, inspire thought. lol.

This is how I exclusively put bullets on trays these days. Way more efficient and quick than freehanding it.
Looks good if you don't rub off powder in the process. I just marked a grid pattern onto my silicone baking sheets. You can either set them where the crosses intersect or make the grid to place boolits within each little grid marked square.
The plastic trays keep things straight in case you bump the tray pretty hard. If you accidentally bump a tray with just a marked grid boolits can shift out of alignment. As long as the uncured powder is not rubbed off the boolit sides by the plastic trays I see no problem with the trays.
Just whichever system agrees with your temperament the best I guess.

10 seconds
colander and tray used
I dump them in the colander, sift out the BB's, shake off the excess powder and dump them in the screen tray shaking the tray to level them
15 min at 400° dump on towel
NO MARKS and none stuck together

we sailors may be drunk half the time.... but we are sharper in formation than the marines when they are sober... I am glad I don't have OCD, but I do have fat fingers. I always mess up the coating if I try to handle the bullets after tumbling. I just do smaller batchers of 50 - 100 bullets. Blows my mind how I can tumble, dump, shimmy, and shake them. But Lord help me if I touch them, instantly smudged and smeared and blank spots.
