I got some 310 stuff today. Any demand out there ? If so I will post pictures tomorrow.
I have no idea what to do with them.

Tenbender, Figure out what you have to get out of them, and offer them to the good people here first. You never know what someone is looking for. If you don't get any response, you can always list them elsewhere.
There is plenty of demand. Sort through what you have and list them in swap & sell.

There are manyof us who love the 310 hand loading tools - I just added an old Tru-line press to go along with my 310 items I've been able to gather to use.
There is plenty of demand, but identifying specific pieces is challenging at times. There is a chart on CastPics that will be very helpful.

Here's a link to the handy chart referred to:

Bump new photos.
I someone is interested send me a PM. I have no idea how to price them.
I believe that there is a healthy market for 310 tools, I still like to use them, esp. for priming and depriming in front of the TV.
As far as pricing, that depends on what makes both the seller and the buyer satisfied. The prices of individual die sets vary by condition, completeness, and need someone has for a particular caliber offered. The 243 and 30-06 dies are popular and should be easy to sell, the sizing die in 358 really is more suited to use with a press rather than the 310 tool, but it will work and someone will probably want it too. The 310 tools themselves should be fairly easy to find a home for. If I were going to try and sell those items, I would go to e-Bay and check the completed listings to see what similar sets actually sold for to at least find a range of prices to expect. Again, be aware that caliber is important... it seems that some calibers are easy to sell while others don't have as great a demand.

I just won a 310 tool with a complete set of 243 Win. dies at $30.00, if that's of any help. Mostly I wanted it for 32-20 as I doubt I'll ever use the 243 dies.

That is more or less what I have found generally. People interested in 310 Tools want them in traditional calibers, like .25-20 and .45-70. There, they give a "flavor" of the olden days to the reloading of the old rounds. Every once in a while, somebody wants a portable kit for his modern rifle to load in camp, but this is not all that common.
By the time the .243 came along, few people were interested in tong tools for such high-intensity cartridges, preferring a press and full-length resizing dies. A basic C press from Echo or somebody could be had with a die set for little more than a 310 set in the same caliber. Few people were shooting the traditional calibers, so there weren't many of the .32-20 and similar calibers sold.
From my scrabbling through the pans of loose 310 dies at gun shows, probably 50% are for the .30-06, 30% are for the .38/.357, and all the rest of the calibers occupy the last 20%. If collectibility here has a rarity component, this might be a consideration.
But, check on E-Bay. There's lots of people with money eager to "win" something.
FYI - your "new" set of tongs are the "large" tongs and your "used" set of tongs are the "small" size tongs. The size of tong required (i.e. small or large) is determine by the cartridge/die set. Notice the difference in length of the tong part where the dies screw in to. The chart that is referred to should indicate the tong size required for the cartridge/die set. There should also be an "adapter" that screws in to the tong - usually included in the die sets but often "lost" over time. This adapter is sized to the cartridge that is being loaded. Many are interchangeable - example would be the adapter for the 30-06 which is interchangeable with the 8 X 57 Mauser. Preceding these aluminum tongs such as you have were the steel tongs which were stamped for the individual cartridge and the shell holes sized for that cartridge. Again, they can be interchangeable (steel tongs) as they often will work with cartridges of the same dimension (base). I don't load 30-06 but I have a set o 30-06 steel tongs that I use to reload my 8mm Mauser cartridges with utilizing a set of 310 8mm Mauser dies.
Yep - a lot of folks pooh pooh the 310 tools and ask "why" when you can use a conventional press and dies, but I batch load my 8mm with a 140 ish grain lead boolit and with my 310 dies set up (lock rings in proper position) I can quickly change the dies out and load just as fast (in my opinion) as I can by using a press - plus, I can "feel" the seating of the boolit and the crimping process. It's just plain fun to see a finished round done with a hand loading tool!
For my 38 specials, I have several sets of the dies that I have set up for various boolit weights/designs - even have a set I can load my 38 Colt Short & Long with. With the proper 310 "neck sizing die", it's an easy operation to neck size my 8mm and 30-30 brass and loading the 30-30 with my 310 dies and tong is a easy and pleasurable process. And loading 45 Colt with the 310 is a hoot. I take my 310 sets with me when I go to AZ and can quickly reload what I shoot up!
As you can tell - I love the 310 tools - but have to admit that I have never tried the Lee Classic Loaders. I have a set for 38 Special as well as 32-20 and once I get my new reloading bench set up (we just moved aver 40 + years) it's on my "to do" list.
I'm going to bump this up one time before Ebay.. I don't think anyone here wants them . Take a second look.
Thanks

I would like to have both sets of handles, but I'm not willing to pay near as much as they will bring. Bought a nickel plated handle for 38(S&W most likely) last fall for $15. Took a while to decide I really wanted it. That is about my limit based on fixed income retirement.
I believe the 358 die is a bullet sizer, it should have a rod with flange on one end, and tip shaped to fit whatever type bullets it was meant for, they varied.
Did you ever sell these parts?

I also sent one a bit ago. If you end up with the stuff, maybe we can figure out a partial swap or whatever, same if I end up with them. I don't need all of it.
