Not everybody uses a lubrisizer, some use the Lee system, what do you use? How effective is your method and what made you decide upon that method? This could be very informative for those who are just beginning or considering casting.

I use the Lee sizer. As I planned to powdercoat from the beginning I didn't see spending the money on a lubesizer.
Depending on what I'm sizing, I normally use my Lyman 450 lube sizer without the push-up rod. This makes it literally a push through sizer. I powdercoat then size. I've tried the Lee push through sizers, but they slide the powdercoat off of the boolit. Lyman sizer does not.

I use Lee. I haven't had it damage either PC or Hy-tek so far.

I have started using Lee push thru only...no lube/size as I have gone totally to powder coat.
I use the Lee sizers mostly for the pistol and a few riffle sizing jobs...still use a couple RCBS Lube-sizers too, one with heater and grease and one without (for PC'd casts) for setting gas checks but you can check in both styles of sizing.
Turning this press upside-down made it easy to take a handful of cast and drop them in the sizer instead of balancing them on the push post...pretty quick this way.

I use the NOE sizers. Better precision than Lee and though it's a little more initially, adding a new size is only $9.75 and you have the ability to nose size if needed. Once I realized 'one size doesn't fit all' when casting for different guns of the same caliber, the NOE was the only way to go.

I use the NOE push though system. I only PC or Hi-Tek and have no problems.
One of these days I'll talk my buddy out of his Star and I'll use that.

Lee and NOE. I can nose size with the NOE.

I put a dab of Ben's Red in a plate or similar container and work it around until the bullets are coated and then size them to 252 and then shoot the heck out of them.No leading ever and when you shoot enough the barrel will get that carnuba shine and from then on there is nothing in the barrel to clean.I will run a patch through every so often to clean the chambers of the Ruger revolver that I use.

I size my Hi-Tek coated bullets on my Star with the lube pump arm removed.
use a Star and Carnauba red or the new Blue depending on which Star Has the right size die in it, still faster than anything else I've found.
Since I get no leading and the boolits, on occasion, go to the center of the target I've had no reason to experiment further.

I use either of two Lyman 450's, depending on which lube I want to use. I run LS Carnuba Red or Commercial 160 to match bullet/load combination.
I have never tried tumble lubing or powder coating since what I am now using works well. I may get around to experimenting with them if I ever cut out some of my other hobbies.

lee system for me, works easy enough and I don't have a lubrisizer. I went hitek/pc very quickly after starting out.

Thanks Yall!
Lee sizer and tumble lube. It's what I can afford, and----it works!
Lee size & lube kits. Tumble lube or PC. And set gas checks with them. I do find that sometimes running them through nose to the ram helps with getting gas checks right. Not much money and gets the job done.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.
Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

+1 Haven't gotten into the PC thing enough yet. Tried it once & it didn't work well that time.. Maybe later.
(I do pan lube some .380 bullets though since they only have the single groove.)
Don't think I will ever buy a Lubrisizer either. Of course now... if someone wants to gift one I would be happy to use it.
LOL
Good evening,
I have tried to always size the boolits I make with POWDER, PRIMER and a BARREL....less work and excellent results...perfectly sized holes in my targets!!
10 shots 40 yards 30-06 as cast LEE 170 RNFP TL no GC. Cheaper than 22LR and more fun.
Have an awesome week!!!!
NOE sizers for me! Rock Chucker provides the leverage.
I wish I could like the NOE sizer. I have a couple different sizes along with the body. Great equipment and nicely made, Problem is you can't work the ram for a full swing like the lee push thru. Just doesn't seem to be a smooth operation when the ram stops abruptly half way thru
