Sometimes, I think we just get ADD as we get older... Sometimes I'll get as far as buying the parts for a project, but it might be a year before I get around to using them (assuming I remember what they were for). Sometimes, I put the parts in the online shopping cart, but never get around to completing the purchase, figuring that there was "one more thing" that I needed to get.

Just finished disassembling the frame of my new 1911 and stoning the sear.
I'm very happy with the trigger now.

My problem seems to be that I just can't help myself and I buy too many "projects". I have a project that I need to get to, but before I get around to working on it / finishing it I buy ANOTHER project, and then before I finish those first TWO projects I buy ANOTHER project ... and so on and so on and so on. I now have so many projects backed up that I don't know when I'll get around to them all! And the trouble is that I don't want to give up on any of my projects and sell any of them unfinished ... I bought all of them because I WANTED them! Oh, it's such a vicious circle ...
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
Continued my testing with Smoke's powder. Carolina blue is awesome. Pink, i have to do 2 coats to be happy, bright green the same. Not that I mind.
I sized and coated 300 boolits. Some I will load with a second sizing, some without. I can cast, coat and size, but had a couple that stripped off (think I identified a problem in my process so that shouldn't happen again). Sometimes I just like to get away and size some things... mindless
I also mized pink and blue for a fancy Easter purple for my wife. She loves her pink boolits.
Next is figuring out her damn Glock42 reload recipe (with J words to start). Once those cycle and I am happy with the reliability i will get a mold, she will have pink boolits for her pink glock
I finished assembling a powder trickler I made up and made a leveling plate for a new to me scales. Have to buff out the trickler after testing it and sand and finish the leveling plate still
A few years back when I won the reloading lot at a local estate sale auction I wound up with a few thousand really odd-colored projectiles in .355 .357 and .452. Just found them again during spring cleaning this week and decided to work up some loads and assemble a bunch. Not sure of the alloy but they are pretty hard. The color could be some odd form of oxidation I suppose. I did get some ingots on that palette but I don't remember any of them being orange. Anyway, the boxes claim these are extreme bullets but they seem pretty well behaved just laying there all this time. Made up some dummies to check feeding and noticed how smooth and consistent the surface is on these. The molds they used must be amazing! Wish they had been included in the lot.
I cast a little over 100 lee 312-185gc's for the sks, using the lyman#2 copper alloy, water dropped this time, just to see hhow that turns out. I usually use the oven to heat treat after I size, I just hope the water dropping doesn't make it to hard on my lubrisizer.oh well, if so I can de- temper them in the oven overnight if I need to

The last couple days ive been deconstructing my lee classic turret. Im adding a new turret head and reverse rotation index rod and case ejector.had some problem with the dang little plastic index nut stripping.got it figured out and some new plastic parts coming from Lee.I like the idea of a case ejector.also ordered a backup camera, wifi version to hover over the case to avoid problems, its on the slo boat from china.
while doing that i wet tumbled some old brass which has been stored a few years and had some corrosion and discoloration. I tried walnut meadia but didnt get the clean,so i wet tumbled and let soak in a solution of vinegar, dawn and lemme shine, All morming , then rinsed and sun dried.they all came out great,so ill finish the rest subsequently.

Worked up some 9.3 X 75R Nimrod brass for one of my drillings and some 8.7 X 55R brass for my Schuetzen rifle. Fired up the lead furnace and cast some bullets for the Schuetzen rifle. That and reviewed data for both rifles. May load them today if I get the Honey-do's finished then again I may wait as it's supposed to rain every day next week.

Reworking 7.62 Nato brass to .358 Win; hanging two ceiling fans; improving the lighting.
Fine wire strainer and Eastwood Hotcoat clear does a pretty good job on NOE 432-278 WFN. I need to change out the powder. Before I started running a pile of bullets the powder was clear and white. Now it looks more gray when I get started. Transfers to a patina on the bullets. Im looking more for function than looks.
