    New lines for Henry

In addition to the Long Ranger series recently released, they are now beginning to add to their line up with....

    4.10 lever action shotgun
    Single shot shotguns
    Single shot rifles
    Big Boy All Weather
And a Fronteer model rimfire with a 24" threaded barrel.

The single shot shotguns and rifles, based on the msrp, should be reasonably priced. The 4.10 lever is a little pricey though. Check em out.

They also added 45 LC to the Original Henry instead of just 44-40. Ive been looking at this model for a couple years off and on but wasn't so sure about the 44-40. WIth the abundanve of moulds and equipment for 45 LC I'm going to be tempted hard.

The single shots have been discussed in length here already. So has the 327 Federal lever action.

The thing that I`ve noticed in their new catalog I got yesterday is the number of `commerative` models. Seems like they are going down the same road Winchester did, just with different `specialties`.Robert

There is a thread about them in the Single Shot forum. Who would've thought?

I like the way the single shot rifles unlock , I'll have to have one in hand before I commit to it though .

I agree completely. My heart is set on a 45-70 but I want to handle it first.

The .410 Lever Gun looks a lot like my Marlin Lever .410 sans the loading gate in the receiver. And the price has gone up a tad too.

i dont want one cause the single shot rifles have extractors instead of ejectors, my preference is ejectors, it's why i stopped buying Handi NEF rifles, they switched from ejectors to extractors
