I have a Remington 7mm mag BDL and was wandering if this would fit in a 270 Win Remington long action synthetic stock or do I need a magnum specific stock? Thanks a lot for all the support.

I am 95% there is just a long and short action. Of course there is a ADL and BDL series.
Actions should be the same. Barrel contour may be different but it should be very doable.
The long action stocks will work unless the contour is a lot different.
Personally, I would get a laminated stock from Boyd's. I have one on my 243 BDL and am very pleased.
The BDL version I got for my short action varminter reduced my group sizes by half and was a perfect drop in fit.
ADL stocks are closed on the bottom, BDL are cut through with bottom metal. Should not be a difference otherwise, at least years ago.
