Just found a nice S&W K38, old model P&R, in the box. It has been fired but is in very
nice condition. Am going to stuff some WCs tonight and hope to shoot it tomarrow
weather permitting.Attachment 189576

I picked up one of those a couple of years ago though not in as nice condition as yours is. Mine is perfectly set up(throat and bore size) for shooting cast. It does so very well.
Well balanced, reliable, and accurate.
If you appreciate target accuracy you're going to like that gun!
They don't get any better than that.
Awesome !!

Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.
Oh that's nice!

Dang!
Now I have a bad case of classic revolver envy.
That's a beautiful thing indeed - be nice to it and treat it right.
Congratulations!

That is a JEWEL.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.
Beautiful revolver!!!
One of the finest range guns for fun or even small game and vermin use bar none.
Have fun with your new/old one. They are truly a piece of Americana and a marksman's dream.

I can`t even try to say how many Lyman 38 WC`s or RCBS 38-148 WC I have put thru my 14, in the many thousands is a fair guess. Using Win. 231 or HP-38 powders (3.2 gr. of either one) and Win. sp it was more accurate than I could hold at times. Nice find.Robert
Shot it today a few rds, weather cold and wet. Just plinked at some cans on creek bank. Will bag
it tomarrow, suppose to be nice. Setting this one up for 158 cast SWCs. Have a old no dash set
up for 141WCs. Will be installing Target trigger & Hammer. I am not sure this gun has ever been
shot. No big deal know that I touched off a few.Attachment 189672
Very nice!!!! You have a great gun there. Congratulations! Had a friend with one, shot point of aim with Lee 148 WC's over Bullseye powder! I had a chance to buy it, but went with a Colt Python Target model in .38 Spcl. instead. Both guns are equal in my book.
I firmly believe that you should only get treated by how you act, not by who or what you are!!
Beautiful. Enjoy!
That is the best revolver for going after the NRA's Distinguished Revolver Badge.

I bought one a couple of years ago with the 6in barrel. It's a tack driver and a real joy to shoot. The Target Masterpiece and the Combat Masterpiece, which I'm lucky enough to have both, are works of art. It doesn't get much better than those
