Made up some felix lube for cast bullets and began to wonder if anyone has tried it for either under or over the ball lube for percussion revolvers.

Probably work fine...I've used vasoline..Crisco...various commercial black powder lubes..home-made bullet lube...engine assembly grease...and modern machine grease in a tube to over-ball grease my revolvers. All seemed to work fine
Was thinking about cutting out some cookies of it and trying it between powder and ball
FL will work, but there's better, home made stuff available and easier to make too. E.g., Crisco (white) & bees wax; Emmerts; Stumpy's Moose Snot, etc.
Felix Lube works great with smokeless powder.
Not so great with BP, like Maven said, "There's better stuff out there" when it comes to BP application.

When it comes to Muzzle Loaders, Black Powder Matters.
