just picked up an encore barrel chambered in 476 gnr. the barrel i had on it was a 22-250. the two screw holes line up but channel is to small on forend. which forend do i need to buy to make this work. thanks jason

Is it a factory heavy or a full bull barrel??? Dave A muzzleloader forend might work....
Looks pretty close to a full bull. Not much taper at all. I will have to measure muzzle to see.
after the chamber swell the barrel looks the same diameter all the way to the muzzle. the chamber swell to the barrel isnt much of a diameter difference at all.
just measured it with micrometer. after chamber swell barrel is .940 and the muzzle end is .840
Same measurement I'm getting from my muzzle loader barrel, hole spacing looks the same.
