Didn't come away with alot. 109 lbs of isotope cores. All I have bought are 31lbs each, but these look just like the bigger ones, but only weigh 22 ish. lbs. Same alloy as the larger cores? Never seen isotope cores at the yard before.
They must have had 2 tons of sheet lead , along with a couple of 55gal drums of lead and a couple of buckets with WW's in them.
They had some items that at first glance, might be older isotope cores. Might have 8 or so. Pretty old as the outside was fairly dark, and were shaped more like an old pineapple grenade, but smooth on the outside. Took a pic, but haven't yet figured out how to get it from my phone to the computer!!! Any idea of what they might be, and the alloy composition?
At least they have dropped lead prices down to 75cents/lb.
