Google the Cast Bullet Association website. I believe they still have it available. Not the best book, but a good one worth adding to the library.

Write or e-mail Joe direct. He has a much enlarged new edition out - with contributions from many Cast Booliteers - and can provide you either a hard copy or one on CD. I have the CD, but need to get the paper one too, soI can read it in bed or out in the shop.

The Second Edition of the book "CAST BULLETS FOR BEGINNER AND EXPERT" is complete.
This has gone from under 100 to 496 pages produced by well over 140 contributors, and is a non-profit enterprise.
Any excess of money is going, ($200 to date), to Rudi Prusok and the ASSRA archives, a wonderful resource for gun info.
A WORD copy with all EXCEL workbooks and ERRATA is available at no charge on http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/CB-BOOK/, in FILES. FREE!!!!!
WORD and Adobe Acrobat .pdf copies of the book, with EXCEL workbooks and ERRATA on a CD are available delivered to any country for $5. Everything in the print copy is in the CD, BUT!! the CD has a lot of material that is not in the print copy of the book. I recommend getting the CD if you get the print copy.
Print copies are available at $27, delivered in the USA. Copies to countries outside the USA, including Canada, are $37.50-it's the postage cost!
For the CD or printed copy send cash, check or M.O. to:

Thank you so much for an outstanding job with this huge project Joe!
This is a remarkable resource of information spanning more years than I care to remember and thanks to Joe's efforts it's available to us instead of hidden in the archives of the past. Many pages contain information gathered from many of our distinguished members too.
Joe has graciously allowed his book's chapters to be posted in one of my favorite websites LASC.us; home of the Los Angeles Silhouette Club, another excellent resource for us cast boolit shooters.
http://www.lasc.us/ArticleIndex.htm
Another excellent resource for me has been the Wolfe Publishing Company Art of Bullet Casting Collection on DVD. This is a collection of articles taken from the pages of Handloader and Rifle magazines over again, more years than I care to remember. This DVD is sold from their website and available at MidwayUSA too.

There is enough information in these three resources to satisfy the information needs of cast boolit shooters from showing beginners how... to explaining why things do or don't do what we expect them to do to the most experienced shooters.

Thanks to all those that put it together.
Joe,
Let me add my thanks to you for your effort in pulling all that information together. That's going to be the "go-to" book for anyone interested in cast boolits for the next thirty years, at least.
Joe
I got your book. You did a great job.
It appears that this book is in the third edition now (630 pages).
Where is it available? I don't see it anymore on the Los Angles Silhouette site.

I don't think the third edition was ever on LASC. The second edition was, though. If you want to see it, check the LASC March 2013 internet archives at waybackmachine. Also, the CBA sells it on cd or in print. If you want to see the third edition, join the following Yahoo group: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/CB-BOOK/info
I just checked and the book seams to be available here.
