Does anyone have any good loads for the 7x57 with 160gr GC cast boolits? I have Re7, H4198, 4064, and 4350 powders. I'm looking for velocity in the 1600-1800fps range. Help?

Try 20 - 25 gr RL7 with a Dacron filler.

^^What he said. 25 grains RL 7 was the best load I had for my M-95 spaniard. I used the old 287-405 boolit which ran 156 grains from my mold, IIRC. Wish I still had my old mauser--was the first rifle I ever owned that I cast for.

I have loaded several sets of 7x57 with 160gr bullets as has been suggested on this site. They include the following amounts of Reloader 7: 22.5gr, 24.5gr, and 26.5gr. I am hoping that this spread might give me an idea what this gun likes and shoots well. Thanks for your suggestions.
