    Question JRD-1-H die: Worth it?

Anyone have Corbin's JRD-1-H die (308 from 9mm cases)? Would you please share your thoughts on the bullets made from the jackets made from that die?

Would you buy it again? I am thinking about buying the die and trying to figure out if it is worth it since it is on sale.

Also, would love to see some pictures of the bullets if possible, please.

    Thanks,
    CM

many have made 9mm cases into 308 jackets. from what i have read you are limited to about 160gr max weight.
if the bullets are made well they should shoot well. the die set you are looking at sizes the case down in one step. i will
warn you that requires some horsepower. i am still solving that problem. my bench flexes and reduces the force i am able to develop.
if you are prepared to do the work, they should make dandy lighter 308 bullets.

I have used JRD H dies before to make 338 jackets out of 223 and 30 carbine cases. A good anneal, punch fit and press stand help. Make sure the die is set to maximum leverage advantage and they shouldn't be at all difficult to reduce. I like to clean thoroughly after annealing, then size.
