Thinking of having a 6x45 barrel made for a Savage 200, which seems to be best a Green Mountain or Shaw ? These are the only two I can afford.

Had a green mt. On a front stuffer years ago, liked it fine. I've owned and shot several shaw barrels and love them, to most accurate rifles I own now one rimfire one center wear shaw steel and I feel in my opinion they shoot all out of their price range, would not hesitate to buy another if I needed it.
Shaw has better twist rates. Sometimes they take 200 rounds to settle in, but they shoot well once broken in.
Are you looking for a 14" twist by chance?? I can part with a S/S, double fluted Lilja for just a little more than a Shaw.
