    Legal in Washington state

    Hi - was interested in trying to make black powder but as noted the first step is to find out if it is legal to do in the state anyone know if it is legal in Washington state - thanks

    It would never have occurred to me to ask the question. Your landlord probably has more say on the subject than the state legisweasels. If it's legal to posses why wouldn't it be legal to make in small quantities for personal use? Don't blow yourself, up then and no one will have any reason to care. Now, if you were making black powder AND crystal meth, for example, and advertising both for sale in the local newspaper and radio station, or yapping about it on a gun related forum while posting your location in your member ID, then you may run into a problem.
