Old model single six, top of the tree. 2 pointing dogs that think they're hounds...they found it and was howling. Good day.

Pretty. Enough for a meal.
Is it squirrel season there?
That OM Single-Six looks great, and is a favorite at popping these tree rats!
Nice! Im going to try and get a jack rabbit with my gp100. Good shootin!
"It is funny because squirrel is dead." Dug the Dog.
Nothing like hunting squirrels with a pistol
"Ahhhh . . . yes officer . . . my dogs climbed the tree and killed it. Yep . . . that's my story and I'm sticking to it!"
You have the same revolver that was my first hand gun back in 1967. Sure wish I still had it. Have a new model Super Single Six but that old model I am on the look out for.
Great shooting! Now go get some more of them. I used to have a dog that would climb trees. He was my rabbit and squirrel hunting buddy when I was a kid, and was about 15-20 lbs, but I'm not sure what kind he was. Looked like a miniature yellow lab. I spent more time climbing trees to rescue him than I spent hunting squirrels. He was GREAT at getting up a tree, but tended to get scared and not climb down once he got to 10-20 feet up, so it was time to put the gun down and start climbing. Nowadays, I have a mastiff that loves squirrel hunting, but thankfully doesn't try to climb trees. He just looks at me with a glance that questions my intelligence if I don't shoot within ten seconds of him finding a squirrel, cause I can't get through to him that I have to be able to see the squirrel to shoot it.
I passed my last psych eval, how bout you?
Yeah, got the old model to use for a custom 32 or 41 special. Have the new model too. But that old model shoots so well I don't want to touch it. Should've not fired it...I just love the frame looks on the old model fixed sight sixes.
And...it's MT. Its always season
250kt . . . LOL . . . thank goodness it's MT and not Kalifornia! You'd probably be in triple trouble there . . . shooting a defenseless animal, shooting something out of season . . . and of course . . . using "lead" boolits!
Just razzing you in my previous post. Here, we do have a "season" but those tree rats can be a pesky little varmint doing a lot of damage sometimes. Every once in a while one "falls from a tree accidentally and kills itself" . . . especially when they are getting in to outbuildings, etc. chewing holes and causing a lot of damage. I don't know which is worse . . . them, the raccoons or the woodchucks.
BTW . . . that's good shooting!
No problem, thanks!
