    compression dies

    I just purchased a compression die without any instruction on how to mount it on my press can anybody help me out with this problem? Thanks for your answer, Hank

    Hank, I am assuming you are referring to a compression die to compress black powder in the cartridge case. I do not know of any other type of compression die for any other function.
    Anyway, if it is to compress black powder, just screw it in your press, adjust it to the depth of compression you need to seat a boolit just on top of the black powder, and you are set.
