Do you think 45 45 10 will work in a carbine or should I buy a 454 sizer and run them through my Lyman 450 ?

I used the 45 grease mix in carbines for some time and it worked. But I got tired of greasy sticky boolits, smoke, and leading, so I switched to powder coating almost 2 years ago.
Since then I have cast and shot thousands of boolits from 223 thru 45's with excellent results....NO leading.....NO sticky boolits......NO smoke.
Just use the inexpensive Lee push-thru sizers. PC is the next generation of shooting! Store you Lyman in the closet.

Yes i think 45-45-10 will work in a carbine, works in a 308 handi at 1550 fps.
Works fine in my win 94 trapper in 45LC.
I'll be a nice to you as you'll let me be, or as mean as you make me be.
Polite society started dying the day it was no longer necessary for rude men to physically defend themselves from the consquences of their actions or words.
I loaded 300 rounds of 265 LFN style bullets, lubed with 45-45-10, and shot them all through my M92 Rossi(24"bbl) in one weekend with no leading or fouling of any kind.
I've shot lots and lots of 45-45-10 lubed Lee C452-300-RF sized to .452" with Gator checks over 24.5gr of Lil'Gun out of my 20" Rossi 45 Colt with no hint of leading. That's a pretty hot Ruger level load.
