who is using what molds for .35 Remington that they love?

Title says it all, this mold will be a gift to a new caster/reloader. Does LEE make anything decent in this caliber?

Ranch Dog 359-190, awesome on TX deer and hogs. NOE makes a version of the RD as well as the famous RCBS 35-200. Haven't used the NOE version of either for hunting but from what I can tell they've helped fill lots of freezers around here.

I don't think Lee makes any molds for .35 caliber rifle, just the ones listed as handgun molds.

RCBS 35-200 FP is great in both my 336A .35 Rem. and my Lilja rebarreled early Ruger 77 .35 Whelen. The scoped Whelen groups well under 2" @ 100, and the iron sight 336A is a consistent 1.5" rifle @ 50 yd.

The RCBS mold is considered to be the gold standard for the .35 Rem. The RD does well too but be careful as some Marlins, like mine, have tight throats and they don't feed well. Not mentioned yet is the Lyman 358315. It was designed for this caliber and in my rifle, cycles slick and I get a bit less than 1" groups at 50yds. That suits me fine and is my preferred boolit but as i mentioned most others prefer the RCBS boolit.

Thank you all.for the input I was leaning towards the Rcbs 200, the rifle is a marlin 336. Factory ammo being almost rare as .22 lr is spurring him towards casting.

RCBS 35-200. Start there and you most likely won't have to buy another mold. Both NOE and Accurate make clones.

RCBS 35-200 here. Out of a Rem 141, a Rem 14 and a Rem 760 all in 35 Rem. All of them shoot it real well. It also shoots well out of several of our 350 Rem's, a 358 Win pistol and rifle. MVcurmudgeon, how fast you pushing it out of the 35 Whelen?

RCBS 35-200. I have NOE's HP version. Mine drops heavy at 220 grs. out of 50/50 +2% tin. Under an inch at 50 from my lapped 336 Marlin with full power H-4198 loads, (2,150 fps). and right around an inch from my F/A .357 revolver, also 50 yds. One of the best designs ever.

Lee 356-120-TC for plinking and small game. The Lyman 358156 for varmints and the RCBS 35-200-FN for bigger game.

I have the RCBS 35-200 and it works well with my 336 marlin for full snort loads. I came across a RCBS 9mm-125 tc mold that I beagled up for the marlin. It works surprisingly well at 50 yards with a mild dose of SR4759. Tried to talk my brother into using it for rabbit hunting, but he politely declined. Heck, I can reload that for about as much as I can buy .22lr.

Larry G. put the 9mm plinker thought in my head. I usually take a few rounds of 35rem. loaded with Lee TL356-124s over 6gr. TiteGroup along for plinking fun after more serious loads. I powder coat the little pills and they are fired in my 35rem Handi rifle. Good fun rolling beer cans or shooting clays. GP

I have yet to see a 35REM that did not like the RCBS 35-200, and quite a few have graced my presence over the years.

This website only costs about $200 a month to run and the banner ads pay for that. Why is the owner always asking for %K and getting 10K to keep this place running???
