    New (Old) Single Shot

    At the gun show, in Eugene, OR, last weekend I found a very nice 1873 Trapdoor. Wood is a little beat up but, other than that it is in excellent, original, condition. I have another 45-70 so I also have all the reloading stuff I need, including a few molds. Now the process begins...Attachment 134952

    Nice find. I bought one there several years ago that had an almost perfect bore.

    Good score. Trapdoors are just fun to play with. Work up some loads and take it deer hunting this fall.
