Thats so freaking cool. Heck if you had a good supressor, you could shoot about anywhere. I bet it costs a pretty penny though.
Just one word....ceramics! "The Graduate (kind of)"
I just thought I was impressed with the 5.56 and 7.62, but when they pulled out the M2 I sat up and took notice.
Oughta be able to recover all the bullets to make more !
You gotta love it - somebody needed a honkin' big MG, and they haul out John Browning's M-2, a hundred years old and still kicking butt in a major way.
I remember when I transitioned to the M60-series tanks and found that the .50 caliber was the M-85, a neat design, rapid barrel change, short receiver, so it didn't take much space up in the cupola in which it was mounted. It was reliable enough. but it was no M-2.

Some things never go out of style. It was reliable enough. but it was no M-2.
I wish I knew what the material was. A long time ago I imagined a hollow structure like that: a wall filled with some granular material that would trickle down to fill the voids in order to withstand repeated hits. Another missed opportunity...
Warning: I know Judo. If you force me to prove it I'll shoot you.

I was at a range a few years ago that had built 3-sided 'hut' for people to clear their guns, if necessary.... The walls of the hut were 2x4 frames but we're filled with smooth river rock, maybe half-inch diameter.... They said they tested it with 30-06 and it did not penetrate.... Looked like the OP video done the cheap....
