I like this picture of my girl friend. If it isn't the biggest tongue it sure is the fastest.

I can't comment as this is a polite, family friendly site
You will learn far more at the casting, loading, and shooting bench than you ever will at a computer bench.

Both have their pros and cons. I love my friends terrier, but i don't have to pick up his poop from my yard. Had cat as a boy, and barn cats now. Dogs are more active and fun, but cats are easy and clean. Regardless, I've had birds the last 20 years, to each their own. Heres shadow our outdoor cat, that ate my last bird. and here's my new little pal Suzy.

This is Jack my shop watch-cat, he's deadly and diligent and always on the job! Mice were a problem leaving their little calling cards all over my loading bench until Jack hired on to clean up the town, vermin don't last long here anymore!

    Hi...

    Dogs...end of discussion.

Never had a bad one...some were a little "different", but never a bad dog.

I think you get out of a dog what you put into them. Mine have always been even-tempered. obedient and affectionate and tolerant of our presence in their doghouse.

Of course, every one has been spoiled rotten by my wife.

Cats are like dogs in that some are smart while others don't have walking around smarts, and then also like dogs there are some cats that are just super smart. Cats of course have a different attitude and take a bit of understanding but once I got to know the little critters I was amazed at just how much I had been underestimating them. I think the most intelligent of all the cat breeds is the Abyssinian, these little buggers can be simply awesome with what they can be taught to do, well for a cat anyway. It's not that cats aren't smart enough it's just that it's difficult to get them to do anything unless they see some benefit for themselves by doing it! Our Abyssinian was almost grown when I rescued her from a coal mine (of all places!) and she quickly showed us her learning abilities, within just a few days she knew the kitchen and dinning room were off-limits and which pieces of furniture she was allowed on. She will come only to the door of those two rooms and will only sleep on the two older recliners she is allowed on, honestly she does things that I would never have believed a cat could be taught to do, a smart dog can be mind boggling at what it can be taught but a cat? The point is if someone is looking for an indoor cat for a pet those Abbys are a great choice and probably make the best house pet of any cat breed.

Dog person here. Not stable enough to have one right now though. For now these two goofballs are my reloading buddies. I've had them since I was 14 and I hope to have them around into my thirties.

I have a cat that climbs up on the printer every night and prints a page. He has learned how to use that to wake us up for attention. Cats are very personable. Like dogs you can get a great one, or something else..If you ever get a great one then you are hooked for life..
I love my Labrador retrievers. It may be time for me to bond with another one this spring..
I love the black female labs .They have always been very faithful, loyal dogs.Smart beyond reason.
My wife is a Vet so I am stuck with a lot of animals..

    I love them all.

Dogs for us. How many cats would allow this? This is my son sitting in his sisters chair with a Boston terrier for a cushion. We have 2 bostons, they are the best with the kids, they will let the kids do whatever they want to. If I was a dog I would have bitten one of them after some of the things they have done to those poor dogs.

Not sure why the pic is sideways. Sorry about that.
