I carry a full size government model 1911A1.
I carry a full size government model 1911A1.
Sometimes I carry a .380, my Model 51. But I never hunt pronghorns with it because the factory ammunition I use won't go that far.
Depends on how I dress. In winter, 1911 or officer model, summer either a Seacamp 32 or an FEG 9 makarov with something more substantial in the car......
S&W 632 or Ruger GP100 both in 327 mag caliber in home made pancake holsters and a reload in 5 Star speed loaders.
Like many, it depends. If I can cover it, Colt Gold Cup 1911. If I need smaller, Colt 1903 in 32acp. My friends tell me I should put the 1903 in the safe and get a plastic carry gun, but what's the fun in that!
Walther P99!
Daily carry Taurus TCP .380. Not because it is the best self defense gun in the world because it fits in a pocket and functions reliably and doesn't interfere with work. When dressed more heavily I often add a Ruger LCR .38 spl or .357. I've packed 9mms, 45s 10mms , 40s , ,357 and 44 mags and .22s upon occasion and still do -usually in the woods open carry.
Cast is an adjective, a noun and a verb. Cast works as both imperative and past tense without any additional letters or helping verbs.
1911 45acp
Taurus PT-145 & 11-rds of Fiocchi 200 HP's [which look like Hornady XTP's] in an Uncle Mikes #4.
Fits easily in the right front pocket of my Wall's Big Smith overalls.
BTW, these overalls have the largest pockets of any pants I've seen

For strong side I carry a custom McDougal and Associates Officers Model on my hip followed by a Rorhbaugh R9 weakside pocket carry.
For a quick trip, I may just carry a Rorhbaugh in each pocket.
In cold weather, if I'm wearing a jacket, I forgo the hip rig and carry an STI 1911 Ranger **in the inside pocket for strong side carry and a Rorhbaugh R9 in the weak side pants pocket.
When at home a Kel-Tec 380 rests in my lounge wear due to it's light weight.

this gun has a Commander slide on a Shorter than Officers frame. It fits ideally in the narrow, verticle jacket pocket.

G26. Sometimes a Smith model 60. Every now and then, just for grins I carry the G41, but I really need a jacket to hide that well.
Nothing fancy for me. Either a model 60 or my Walther PPK/S. They both work...

Guess I'm Old school here to,I carry a Dan Wesson 357,but I'm planning to go to a Ruger LCR 38 special

Looking for a Hensly &Gibbs #258 any thing from a two cavity to a 10cavityI found a new one from a member here
It all depends on what I am up to or how I am dressed. More than anything else a Para P14-45 in an IWB or SOB holster backed by a DB380 in a pocket holster or occasionally a NAA 22LR mini revolver. While hunting I sometimes carry a Taurus Raging Bull snubby in 454 Casull loaded with 405 grain wdww lnswc boolits. All caliber 45 stuff is cast lead of course. 52 230 grain chunks of lead are hard to beat. The only downside is the extra weight on my trousers.
99.9% of the time a Smith&Wesson Magna-Ported 640 stuffed with Hydra-Shoks.
Just got a glock 30 yesterday. Haven't shot it yet, but took it on a test carry today. It was definitely fat but the shorter grip made up for it. I think I likee.

Glock 29.
Yea, I know but it works and who cares if it gets beat up.
