Got an #8 keg of Red Dot and 1# Unique at local Scheels today.
Picked up a LB of Unique and one of Power Pistol (never tried it) and they even had 350 round boxes of .22LR! $58 total!!!! I'm happy.

2 more lbs 2400(24.88 ea) and 1 more lb of GreenDot (24.99) & a 325 rnd box of Fed 22 Match.
'bout all I need for a while, unless I stumble upon some Unique.

First powder purchase in a while.....8# of HP38(Win 231) - $125 and 8# of IMR 8208 XBR - $155. Good prices for these times...
Picked up a lb of blackhorn 209 from midsouth to try it out. I like the pellets but a friend recommended this so I figured I'd give it a try, along with a lee combo real and ball mold for some cheap fun after deer season to prep for next year.

Several lbs of bullseye and unique at local bass pro. I left them for someone who needs them more than me. I've never used either so I'd have to start loads from scratch and I have enough powder to last me a while
Found WST and 296 at a local gun shop today. I only got 1 8lb jug of WST and 1lb of 296 because they had a limit on quantity. Since I don't shoot many magnum loads this should last a while.
The WST should give me about 14000 9mm and 38 special loads.
3 pounds of the holy grail............

Todd,
Basically every rifle cartridge for velocities over about 1200 fps. I find it easy to ignite, not position sensitive, fills the case well, and accurate especially in .30 caliber and above at velocities I normally shoot at. I believe it is the best mid-range cast bullet powder, but many champion others. I was just thrilled to see three pounds at the Sportsman's Warehouse in Wenatchee. Especially since it is reportedly been discontinued for the second time. The last time I bought 4759 was at Lolo Sporting Goods in Lewiston, ID. It was sitting on a shelf at a deep discount and I bought all 24 pounds. I guess I know why DuPont discontinued it both times. The clerk asked me what I wanted it for! I'm on my last pound of that purchase from the late 70s or early 80s. It's always frightened me that DuPont also sold 4756. I had a friend lock a bolt closed on a 98 Mauser by confusing the two. That has always made me store the two powders in seperate locations.
The last two LYMAN cast bullet guides have the most data. I've also used it with great success in a .30/06 using pulled .311 7.62x39 bullets for mid range loads.
Matt
PS: Older Speer Manuals (#9 or 10) list 4759 for a lot of their jacketed bullets under "reduced" loads. Great, safe reduced loads for kids etc. And you can extrapolate that data for cast.
