ID:	122030Youth day (this year youth weekend) was good to us again this year. Although the oldest being 16 this year has grown too old for youth day, My 2nd son was lucky enough to cross paths with this fellow around 3:00 this afternoon. This is his 2nd deer having got a doe last season. The shot was at around 100 yards quartering slightly towards us. The exit hole in what is showing in the pic. Fairly good shot hitting both lungs as it angled through the deer. Rifle was a 308 with a 150 gr jacket bullet. Unfortunately not cast this year as the rifle was new to him. Last year it was a 30-30 with cast.
He is definitely not the biggest boy in the woods but he must have had the biggest attitude. He did not has a single point that was not broke off. Win or loose it dose not look like he backed down once.

Got him started well! Big racks don't matter - they are hard to
    eat anyway.

    Well done indeed!

Awesome! My boy always did very well on youth hunts (deer, turkey, ducks) when he was young. I wish there was such a thing when I was a young lad.
