He surely will! One of the most brilliant, and indubitably, the most articulate person I've ever met, he was responsible for the rebirth of the Conservative movement.

A friend of mine was blinded in Vietnam. William F Buckley paid his way through college.

A true giant among our modern day so called intellectuals. His books on sailing alone make him stand above the crowd.

I enjoy Buckley's writings. He will be missed.
I believe he started out in his life of service, as a CIA agent, in Panama.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

I wouldn't presume to define Mr. Buckley, any more than I would Mr. Jefferson, but I'll miss him.

May he evermore sport that joyful grin that I always think of him as displaying. I'm sad to know he's gone and glad we got him for more than eighty years. RIP

W.F.B. was the grand master of wry humor. I loved watching his debates because most of his opponents weren't clever enough to pick up on the sly "gigs" he tossed at them.

Age 82, and died writing. The way he would have loved to go! Literally working when he died.

I so enjoyed watching his Firing Line television program, or any he guested on, as you could tell by his facial expressions - fodder for the character impressionists - that his mind was racing, recalling, formulating and creating thoughts that were destined for verbal expression at any moment. His personality made his intellect accessible and he inspired people in his audiences to think perhaps more or a bit deeper. And a fun, witty gentleman. We were enriched by him.

When I was much younger....I watched Firing Line just to see if I could understand Mr. Buckley's verbage. Later it was my pleasure to read his fiction, his books on sailing, and to FINALLY begin to understand the man when he spoke. A truly giant mind has left us.
    Fare Well friend....
