    PP'd bullets and obstructions

I'm researching the use of paper patched bullets for smokeless(great forum btw). I do have a question I hope you can answer and
that is how to we make certain that there is no paper left in the barrel between shots that could cause enough of an obstruction to
end a shooting session sooner than expected

If you prepare a PPCB for factory jacketed velocities and use the proper powder, the PP will completely disintegrate at the muzzle. You will see a small puff of white smoke when the round is fired. PP left in the bore is rare. When you are first starting to PP, dry brush the bore after each round; felt resistance in front of the chamber(cut PP from too large a O.D.), felt resistance mid-barrel or at the muzzle indicates PP slippage. Likewise, the dry brushing will remove any PP left in the bore. When you get everything right, the PPCB shoot just like regular ammo.

    Enjoy the journey!
