I looked and can't find much can I use liquid alox or the 45-45-10 on a bullet with a standard lube groove such as a 45 acp hollow point?

Yes, covered in many posts. You are good to go. Will work well. I like the 45/45/10.
Everything mentioned above is 100% accurate and if you do search you will find nothing saying the opposite.

I loaded 300 rounds of 45 Colt with a 265 LFN style bullet with conventional lube grooves. Lubed the boolits with 45-45-10 and loaded to about 1100fps. Shot all 300 in a weekend through a M92 Rossi 24" and had no leading at all.
I like it very much.
Yes. Use Lars 45-45-10. Excellent lube, dries real quick and no sticky outer layer. Unless of course you goop it on.

Now It won't fill the traditional lube groove, mine you, but there will be enough in there to work just fine!

I do it exclusively now.
Tumble them just like the TL bullets.
Size them before you tumble them. The sizing will remove the lube and you will need to tumble them again.
That will leave a double coat on the nose of the bullet and you will not like that.

I used alox and 45/45/10 for quite a while on standard and micro-groove boolits with success.
Now I powder coat everything, but what you asked will definitely work.

I use lube sizers mainly for the look of things, but for performance out of anything less than the LONGEST of rifle barrels I can't honestly tell a difference as compared to a tumble lube. How the LLA has enough to run in a rifle barrel is beyond me but it does.
Now, now...nothing is impossible.
Ive been told this was not a great idea but; I've got so many bottle of LLA laying around and one of them is starting to dry out. Too lazy to thin it back down again, I literally dipped the boolit in and the gummy sticky mess, filled the lube groove of a .30 cal boolit. I stood them up on a clean board to dry for 24 hrs. Then wiped the base clean and pushed them to 1600-1800 fps. Zero leading. Ymmv.
With tumble lubing less is more.

I have used thinned LLA with my 357 mag loads, and had no noticeable leading. Don't know the velocity, but the load was 10.0 gr Blue Dot with Lyman 358477 as cast from COWW, and WW SP primer.

O.K., been away for a while...What is Lars' 45-45-10?

45-45-10 Refers to the mix ratio for Recluse's Lube.
45% LLA (Lee Liquid Alox) or X-lox
45% JPW (Johnson's Paste Wax)
10% MS (Mineral Spirits)
-------------------------
= 45-45-10
Also called Recluse Lube, since it is his formula.
You can read more about it from the "Tumble Lubing -- Made Easy and Mess-Free" sticky
http://castboolits.gunloads.com/show...-amp-Mess-Free
You can make it yourself following Recluse's instructions, or you can purchase it from Lars at White Label Lubes.
Lars makes 45-45-10 with Recluse's permission, and honestly without the hassle and stink of doing it yourself. I think even Recluse was impressed at how well the stuff Lars makes and now sells turned out.
I have made 45-45-10, and I have bought it from Lars. I don't think I can make it myself any better, or for any cheaper than Lars sells it. I doubt I will ever make it again, as the 45-45-10 White Label Lube sells is just so easy to purchase.
I prefer the 45-45-10 mix, instead of straight Alox. It dries faster and is easier to handle, and it just plain works for me. (Read the sticky)
