Saw some rifle powders today, for handguns some Unique, Red Dot, Blue Dot, PB and
lots of primers showing up and prices are dropping.
LGS had FEDERAL Small Pistol for $30/1000, bought a couple, a few weeks ago they
were $40 with a limit of 1000.

None. Was looking around the powder aisle, guy came over and asked if he could help me. Said sure, find me a pound of Bullseye. We both had a good laugh. They did have a decent selection of rifle powders, but nothing I needed. Had primers, too-$4.50 a hundred, two hundred limit. Passed on that for now. Did buy some bullets for the .270-don't see casting for that one. Been playing with it since 1980 and it likes light bullets going fast. It is what it is.

I picked up some steel the other day.
Working in Ohio this week and stopped by Fin - Feather - Fur gun shop in Canton. They had more powder than I've seen in a log time. 8 pound limit per person per day. I picked up 8 pounds of Unique, there was a lot of rifle powder and a good supply of primers. The 1 pounders are priced at $20.99 and Federal 210 primers are $29.99/ 1000.
Two pounds of H4227, 8 pounds of H110!

One pound of Red Dot for $35. It had been sitting on the shelf of the local expensive hardware store since 2009. I left a second one to age some more.
I hope that it works good for .38 dewc.
6 more lbs. of Red Dot at the LGS.. They have lifted the 2 lb. restriction. Now I hope the price starts to decline.
I bought one pound of old Hercules Unique unopened in a brown tin, what do you guys think should I open it?
Do you need it to keep shooting? If not keep it unopened. If you need it to shoot then open it up.
No actually I do not need it to keep shootin'
Im just dying to see what it looks like lol. Its in a brown square tin if anyone can date that
I have seen an old square blue can of it, and a square black/yellow can of Unique, but never a brown square one.
