Rex 0 is similar to Bullseye and WW 231.

Rex 1 is similar to Red Dot and Clays.

Rex 2 is similar to Green Dot and International.

Rex 3 is similar to Universal.

don't take any of those as grain for grain equivalents, I'd question whether 231 is slower than Red Dot for Example. This was the reference I was given though and it should give you some starting point ideas.

I'd thought of buying some rex3 as a cheap unique to see how it did.

    Hungary, supposedly.
Eh, the prices don't look all that good. Maybe I'm living in the past, but add in shipping and the Kommunist Hazmat charge, and I'm not seeing any bargains. Just my $0.02......................Lee

I'm 30 minutes from powder valley. I think I'm going to pick up a 25 lb keg of the stuff next time I'm there.

With that much, I may just have to keep it in the shed.

So has anybody actually tried Rex powder yet?

I'm fixin' to place an order from PVI for small rifle primers, and thought I might add on a kilo of Rex III just to play with in .38 Specials mostly. I read somewhere that Rex is single-based powder; if so, Rex III might be a good replacement for Solo 1250.

There is plenty of loading data here. Do a quick search on Rex as I compiled a good bit of data about 2 years ago and posted it.

I understand that. Let me try again. <ahem> "So has anybody actually tried Rex powder yet?"

By that, I mean has anyone here tried it?
