The past several days I've been busy to say the least. Today was a lazy day by design. Then I sit here doing some relaxing reading and make a post like above, after reading what had been posted I was motivated to the bench. So here's the load that will be tested more on Thursday if weather permits. Two rounds was fired in my back yard this afternoon. They fit the magazine, 100% function, and zero fouling. If the neighbors ask in my subdivision.....my car backfires.

    This mold: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/246...ProductFinding

    29.0 grains ww296
    OAL 1.595"

30 rounds loaded. I will put them over a chrono and we'll see what happens. Everything around my place is a work in progress.

All bullets cast from 50/50 COWW and Pure. Shot at the berm at 30 yards. Coated with 2 coats of hi-tek gold

Typical look to a recovered 358495 in a 38 special over 2.5 grains of clays.

Same style bullet that hit a rock just right.

MP 454-200 HP loaded over 4.5 grains of WST in a 45 acp.

Hit a rock the same way.

These are 9mm hp mihec 125gr coated with Red HF, loaded with Win231 and screaming at 1200fps. They were shot into dirt filled tires.

Glock 17 with a Lonewolf barrel, so standard rifling.

Beetmagnet- Thank you. How did your accuracy with the Lone Wolf barrel compare against the factory Glock barrel?

The lonewolf is a more accurate barrel. It's hard to tell, but when you get 20 yards from the target, you start to see. I tested these bullets in the lonewolf and stock barrels, and at rest and offhand you can see the Lonewolf shoots tighter groups.

40 S&W Powder Coated With Cola Can Gas Checks

    Picture Of 40 S&W.

Some of the gas checks stayed on with the large smashing of the bullet.

    White powder coat from PowderBuyThePound.

Not muck of the powder coat remained, shot at 10 feet into some taped up dry paper.

I tried to get the best pics I could, trying to show the ridges (and lack of) using a flashlight. These were fired at yards into a 3ft long 1ft wide 1ft deep box of a mix of dirt and clay with a few small rocks (as you can see). They are lee .401 175TC mold, powder coated with Sherwin Williams Powdura. 3 fired from Beretta 96 over 6.7g Longshot, 3 fired from Gen3 Glock 20 over 8.5g Longshot. I may try again but shoot the 10mm from my 1006 and .40sw from Gen2 Glock 22 to switch which caliber is using standard/poly rifling. The Beretta definitely cut the coating, the Glock did not, just kind of smooshed the grooves into it. Alloy is straight wheel weights. First two pics are Beretta second two are Glock. Enjoy!
