Hell no hand lubing is not for quantity unless you are a very patient person. You literally smear the lube into the lube groove(s) with your fingers and wipe the excess off or some will run the boolit through a Lee push through sizer die. Total PITA.
Its very similar to packing a bearing with grease. You pinch off a little of the lube and with it on your thumb you work it into the lube grooves slowly rotating the bullet till the grooves are full. It is slow and deliberate work. A plus to it is 1 no air bubbles and its a easy way to test a new lube ith out cleaning a sizer out. Also some lubes that dont pan lube very well will respond to this method better.
Maybe the guys selling lube grooves here should offer them pre filled?????
I've made a few lube tubes from PVC that work like giant chap stick tube that make it a little better but it is still a real pain.
