Very beautiful. I love the lines.
Is the bird inlay a swallow? Very classy.

Yes, it's a swallow. Tammy sent me her coat of arms, and wanted some of the elements included in the design. This rifle only has a 11" LOP, so that is a pretty small area to work on. The full COA was out of the question, so I took a main element to use.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

I couldn't sight it too close, being a 11" LOP. Everyone sees sights different, had to leave something for her and Dean to play with.
