He'll sell you less than the 5-pound quantity most folks get; I bought 2 pounds and they're plenty to fill up both drums of the HF tumbler.

The first unit I had was a small Thumblers Tumbler, cost: $1.00 from a yard sale around 1984 or 1985!

I added some treated Walnut Shell media. It worked just fine.

Another thing I do before each use is to oil the motor with 3N1 oil , like the instructions say to. This must work because that thing is pushing 40 years of service!
I like the big octagon shaped barrel because it holds a lot...small ones are tedious, get a big one!

Oil it where ? output Bearing maybe?

    got mine used no instructions

Here's the link where I got my pins - Bullseye Reloading:

    http://www.bullseye-reloading.com/

The 0.047" diameter pins do not get stuck side-by-side in flash holes - unlike smaller diameter pins (0.041").

I use an old rock tumbler with a 6 sided rubber lined drum. Holds well over a gallon. Motor was bad so I rigged up a 1/3 hp motor with pulleys to get the speed I wanted. Does a beautiful job and you can't overload it. It just keeps on chugging!
