American Select for .30 cal loads?

Anyone here used American Select powder for reduced .30cal loads?

It's available at my LGS and I've read great things about it for use in the .45 and .9mm, and the burn rate falls in the range where I'd think it would make a great powder for reduced loads, but just wanted to see if anyone else out there had tried it?

Thinking about using it for the military bolt rifles in 30-06, 7.5 Swiss, 762x54r, yadda yadda,

    Thanks for any help!

I've got some that I plan on trying in my Max and in my 300blk. Haven't started on them yet. It is a fairly bulky powder.

I'm assuming you plan on using it for subsonic loads with heavy boolits in your 300blk?

Can't wait to use it in the Makarov, should be great, and if I can use it to push .30 cals then all the better!

Ben what is the weight of that boolit and do you know about what velocity your getting from that powder charge. I bought a keg of that powder during the last shortage but have not used it yet.

Ben, those are some super groups!!!

Nitrochuck, Yes, I am planning on running it with subs in both the BLK and my 357Max. Just haven't had time to do any shooting or load development lately.

Bullshop, I searched it on here and it is 218gr round nose.

    Bullshop

Mine run 222 grs. sized & lubed ready to load.

    Velocity ? ? ?

    I'm guessing 1,250 - 1,300 fps.
