    Large Caliber Sizer Dies

Who makes custom lube/sizer dies in .585 and larger?

Robert Stillwell is not longer in business. I would appreciate any info.

.585 and larger? That doesn't leave much material for the die walls, which on my Lyman .512 die look pretty thin to me, since they have an O-ring groove. The dies for a Lyman or RCBS sizer, have a .700" OD., which leaves an .0575" & less wall. The OD for a Star sizer is larger, .750", but the reduced center portion is .675". If you're looking for Star dies, won't Magma make what you want? They can increase the center portion up to .750"

Have Buckshot make you a push-through die for it.

Magma will make a .585 but nothing larger. I guess a .620 would have to be shot straight from the mold???? Does anyone have any experience with a .620 cast bullet? I could lube it in a pan, I guess.

I have a custom.729" sizing die for 12ga. You can unscrew the threaded bushing that holds the 7/8-14 dies in an RCBS press. then machine the die tofit those threades. I seem to recall that is 1.50" in diameter.
