Now THAT'S a blast from the past! "Winky Dink and You" has been touted as the very first interactive video game, played using special crayons to draw on a clear green vinyl sheet placed over the TV screen. I recall that it came out in about 1954, so that is going on 60 years ago!

I don't melt lead, I don't play Xbox, but I'm 58, so we're very close in age.
When I was 19, this was an electronic game.
This was how we listened to our music, especially in our cars.
This was our telephone.
And our cable tv--13 whole channels, plus two UHF channels if you got the extra antenna.
And finally, our word processor we used to type and send messages.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to rub some Absorbine Jr on my arthritic knees, gulp some Bayer aspirin, put the heating pad on my back and try to get some sleep. I do have a digital alarm clock, though.
Life was simple back then.

both my BIL and I play xbox.. both of us reload; tho only i cast.
my best man dose all three when he has time after farming.
but guns and shooting are better the xboxing.. (you have to do something in the cold dark of winter)
