Tiger Butter - chocolate, peanut butter & calorie remover. The last ingredient is from a secret family source, Okie/Arkie MIL's GGGM (Cajun/irish/french) developed in Paris in the 1600s. Wife's hobby is baking (deserts - I think she got that from working with the SMU pastry chef who went to the WH), she said last nite she had a bunch more to do before the holidays. Glad she puts that last ingredient in cause I've already had to get the suspenders out. Her aunt worked at the Magnolia bakery for years, ain't what it used to be.
Here is a recipe from a HS friend that passed a while back.
Ingredients:
1 elephant 2 rabbits
salt and pepper brown gravy
Cut elephant in small bite size pieces. This should take about two months. Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over kerosene fire for about 4 weeks at 465 degrees. This will serve 3800 people. If more are expected, two rabbits may be added. But do this only if necessary as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.
Whatever!
I finally made the chocolate chip cookies
They look better in real life, and they taste pretty decent.
I expect they will all disappear at the clubhouse tomorrow.
I did notice a couple things making cookies has in common with casting and reloading.
1.) burns
2.) not enough work space, no matter how much work space you have
3.) 1/2 way into the process you realize there is something you wish you would have done differently.
They look great to me and I'm sure you won't be bringing any home from the clubhouse either. I'm not much of a cookie eater, my family on the other hand....usually chips ahoy or something fills our cookie jar, no one seems to want to bake any. Occasionally some Pillsbury dough is bought, that is about as close to homemade as it gets around here. Thank you everyone for posting pictures of some real homemade cookies. Takes me back to when I was a kid and Mom baked them weekly.
You guys got me laughing so hard my eye are watering. Now I can't read the rest of the threads.

We lose more puddy 'tats that way...
Dang.... I want more cookies now.....WIFE!!!!!.......Hello.....???
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:7
The cookies were successfully delivered to the clubhouse today.
They were not all consumed on the spot, however, I believe they will not gather any dust.
I still have enough components for another run of chocolate chip cookies.
I am also now wondering what else to try ?
Suggestions ?
