Greetings from Arequipa, Peru.
My photos dissapeared from a couple years ago of my rides so decided to do it again.
First up is our "going to meeting" vehicle. 1987 Suzuki "Sammy" military model. Nearing 109,000 miles so still barely broke in. Will go up and over everything I have ever locked the hubs to do. Drive it mainly on Thursday and Sunday for church services (wife just does not like that wind blown affect on those days). Also gets used for hauling visitors about to villages where we work. We are the second owner since January 2004. Peruvian Airforce was 1st owner and was painted sky blue.
Second is my daily rider Bought new in 1992 Yamaha DT 175 and still a 2 cycle. Nearing 400,000 kilometers and on the third piston. I used to ride this to high mountain villages but no longer do so as God provided the following and 3rd in line.
1994 Kawasaki. We are the 3rd owner. Purchased from a mine worker 8 years ago. This is my work vehicle. It goes to the mountain villages, rural churches and hauls tools. No longer a 200 KDX since 10 weeks ago. Needed an new piston but there are none here anymore. All engine parts had to be ordered from the USA and it was getting awful with shipping and custom fees. So finally pulled the 200 and placed a new 250 4 stroke on the frame. The green washtub (doubled) bolted with steel plate on the rear is how I haul whatever I need with me for the day.

The first year these cars had an independent rear suspension.
No speed limiter in the software but I will never go there.

+1 Bullshop jr...Now THAT'S what a truck supposed to do.. great pic! Everything around here is conctete and asphalt. Sigh...
If you look there is a pretty good load of wood in the back and all four tires are chained up. Thats one of the better spot on the road where i could still get out of the truck.
I use that road to gather wood, and hunting and am planning on setting a few traps
Down that way this winter. That truck guts used well, but i still try to take good care of it.
Here's some "rides".First is my "work truck" 2001 dodge. 276,000 miles on the ol 5.9L and still going strong. Next is Momma's toy. 06GT mustang. v8 5 speed, fast as all get out. I'm not allowed out unsupervised in it.(See following mustang comments) Next "Ride" was one of the coolest. Her name is Anna and she lives in RSA. Smooth ride as long as she gets some snacks regularly. The next pic was from way back when I started in the oilfield. it's in Dinosaur Colorado. Pretty good ride. I made it a full 8 seconds... Last is a 1965 mustang I had in 1990 while at Camp Lejeune. Did a horrible Dukes of hazard impression in it that ended badly for both of us.
I'll be a nice to you as you'll let me be, or as mean as you make me be.
Polite society started dying the day it was no longer necessary for rude men to physically defend themselves from the consquences of their actions or words.
This my vintage Corvette boat, 1959 Crosby Capri with Twin 1959 Mercury Mark 55's, when the fiberglass boats were being pushed on the reluctant public they started putting fins on everything which sold the fiberglass boats, the Crosby company made this Corvette boat to be competitive the interior especially the dashboard is a "take off" of the 1956 & 57 Corvettes
this is a 75mph 40hp racer on a "C Class" hydro I race on Oregon rivers
Love the old boat, show us more.
Here is AlaskaGurls ride... Total function... Was a ground up rebuild a few years back, and it sometimes the ONLY thing on the road here when the snow gets bad...every thing from the fenders down is rino lined, as well as the bed.... 36 in tires, skyjacker 2, dual shocks all the way around. It is hell to jump in and out of though, eats gas, and we only use it when it gets real bad... We can get 30 feet of wet snow around here... Can totally crush an unprotected car...

thanks for the interest
I Picked up the Crosby Capri 3 years ago for $300.00 including a vintage Holsclaw trailer, since then I can only find 7 others registered & tagged to operate on US waterways, so its very rare runabout, This actual boat was used from brand new as Sherriffs Patrol Boat in NY harbor the officer asked to buy it when he retired, it was given to him and he dragged it to Washington state where the family used it as a ski boat, and used hard.
This model was also raced APBA racing in 59, it was voted the fastest hull in 59 by a Popular Mechanics review of fiberglass boats of the year, this model was also used in a Mercury/Crosby joint TV advertisement
Every spring I work on it another 2-3 weeks before it goes back in the water for the season, so its been an on going restoration. There was a bunch of glass work to do & had to fab up the missing glove box door and back hatch, re chroming and or replacing hardware was costly & took the longest ....locating the parts on ebay
Both 59 Mercury 40hp motors I have completely rebuilt and restored.... honed, new rings, seals & gaskets...its been a fun project, the family and friends love it for both tubing, sking or booze cruises on the Columbia River.

Do not argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Can't really quantify my truck as a nice ride, has accumulated a few dents and dings over the years and I figure a truck is a truck.
Here's something I banged out in the garage (with literally inches to spare) over a few year period.
This sums up why I built it.
The weather isn't always that nice, but a steller day on the water makes every dollar and hour put into the boat worth it.
I dont have a photo handy but its a motorcycle with a soft case that fits perfectly on top of motocentric saddle bags. From any distance you cant even tell that is what is on it. Quite secure even when almost dragging a knee (because of the bags I cant quite lean that far). I ordered 4 rocklockster buckles and got some nylon webbing and made straps to secure it using the integrated top bag mounts. I may get a photo of it at some point.
That water looks like PWS Paulie... Looks like you brought the shrimp pots... Dead giveaway.... I make that trip across the sound about 20 times a year just to get to town...lol
